About the Memphis Orchid Society

The Memphis Orchid Society is a vibrant group of individuals who share a common orchids. Members come in all ages and range from beginners to experienced growers and hybridizers.

Meetings: Fourth Sunday of each month 2 to 4 p.m. at the Memphis Botanic Garden

Each monthly meeting includes a brief business meeting, orchid show-and-tell, refreshments, and an informative presentation. Visitors are always welcome. Click here to learn more about becoming a member.

Annual Show and Sale

In May, vendors and other orchid societies from around the region come to the Memphis Botanic Garden to exhibit their plants alongside MOS members. Judges from the American Orchid Society award ribbons, trophies, and coveted AOS awards. The event is open to the public to view exhibits and purchase from vendors.
